AI Visibility Score
Visibility score — An AI visibility score is a single 0–100 index that rolls up mention rate, citation rate, and ranking into one number so you can track your standing in AI answers at a glance.
A score exists to make a moving target legible. MentionedOn's score, for example, weights mention rate most heavily, adds a bonus for being cited, and a smaller bonus for being named early in the answer — so a business that's named often, linked, and listed first scores highest.
A score is a summary, not the truth underneath it. The underlying mention and citation rates are what you act on; the score is what you watch move. Judge a scan by whether the number is rising and how it compares to the competitors in the same category.
